6th grade is almost over and we received the invitation to attend the Awards Assembly on June 4th. We look forward to see in which subjects our son excelled the most. Jason attended and took plenty of pictures of our son bringing home 3 medals. We are very proud of his hard work and accomplishments.
After the last day of class, June 6th 2013, I completed the thank you cards to his teachers and since I run out of time and color ink -of course- I sent them via e-mail. I received the first reply right away and I loved reading all of them as they arrived to my inbox.

One of his teacher wrote "Nicolas is an amazing young man. It has been a privilege to serve him this year. You're email just made my summer brighter. Be safe, have fun -- keep learning!"

Our favorite counselor wrote: "Nicolas is a wonderful young man who is accomplishing great things. He is very blessed to have such wonderful parents as his support system. Thank you for all you do and I look forward to working with you and Nicolas next year." What mother doesn't love reading praises to her son? Here is another one: " I had such a wonderful time with that class. It was difficult, but worth it. You should be very proud of Nicolas. He did very well among his peers. Thank Nicolas for his kind words."
Nicolas did great in 6th grade his first year of middle school. He grew more responsible and eager to face his school assignments in a more timely fashion. Now watch him enjoy his summer vacation in the upcoming events. Have fun looking at the photos!
